Welcome Message

Dear friends and colleagues,
On behalf of the Korean Society of Medical Oncology (KSMO), and the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (CCF), we are pleased to invite you to participate in 2024 KSMO Liver Cancer Symposium & the 7th Asia-Pacific Cholangiocarcinoma Conference. This year's conference will be held at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas, Seoul, Republic of Korea, from November 2(Sat) to 3(Sun), 2024.

7th Asia-Pacific Cholangiocarcinoma Conference event aims to provide opportunities for interested individuals to learn more about the latest advances in research, treatment, and care of biliary tract cancer patients.

In addition, this year’s conference will be held in conjunction with the annual Liver Cancer Symposium that takes place in Republic of Korea. This integration will provide a comprehensive platform for sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration among experts in both cholangiocarcinoma and liver cancer.

The program will seek to develop sustainable participation of the medical and research communities from Asia-Pacific, US, and EU in the field of biliary tract cancers by:
  1. Enhancing the comprehension and expertise of attendees on pivotal issues pertaining to the diagnosis, treatment, and care of cholangiocarcinoma.
  2. Identifying knowledge gaps and achieving consensus on the rapidly evolving advancements in basic, translational, and clinical research.
  3. Promoting interdisciplinary cooperation and the dissemination of best practices through the development, fortification, and support of collaborative efforts.
  4. Fostering scholarly dialogue and encouraging innovative approaches in the field.

We also request the participants to share their work and submit their abstracts. Important abstracts will be discussed during the conference oral presentation session and poster presentation session.

We encourage colleagues from around the world to participate in the conference.

We look forward to seeing you in Seoul.
